Consult the International Relations officers at your university. Check if there is a current Exchange Agreement with USACH and what that agreement entails. they establish the period, programs, and requirements, among others.
The subjects established by your exchange agreement, previously reviewed by your Head of Program.
It is possible as long as you do not belong to a double degree agreement, as in that case, the subjects are pre-established. Modifications to subject enrollment are also not allowed when the home university requests specific courses to be taken. In any case, it is the exchange student’s responsibility to request authorization for a subject change from their home university. If taking any elective subject, they can be modified upon personal request at our office within the deadlines established during the induction meeting.
It depends on the agreement. There are agreements where you can only take subjects from one program. Others establish that you can take subjects from different programs. The programs currently taught by the Faculty of Administration and Economics are: Public Administration, Public Accountant and Auditor, Business Administration (Ingeniería Comercial), and Economics (Ingeniería Comercial).
The subjects to be chosen must be those taught starting from the fifth semester, that is, from the third year onwards. This requirement is established in the agreements signed between both institutions.
It generally depends on the course you choose. Some courses have classes three times a week, including tutorial sessions, while others have classes twice a week. Courses offered in the evening are usually held once a week.
In the case of evening courses, they include tutorial sessions or, alternatively, classes on Saturdays.
These will depend on the semester to be taken. For example:
1st Semester: Start: March (exact day varies each year). End: July (exact day to be defined).
2nd Semester: Start: August (exact day to be defined). End: December (exact day to be defined).
The International Relations Unit of the Faculty of Administration and Economics organizes an induction week, which is scheduled before the start of classes each semester. This week contains various activities, the first of which is the student’s registration at our office where they must report. Detailed information is sent to the exchange student once they have been selected.
